Large unique home sleeps 10 comfortably, pets OK. Hot tub, sauna, fireplace on 40 private acres only a half mile from US-41 and 12 miles south of Houghton. Premium satellite TV, stereo, dishwasher, everything you need except food. The house is nicely isolated on the property - you can't see any other houses but you do have a 10-mile view over the Keweenaw Ridge. The property also has a picnic area and beach near the spring-fed pond (with stocked trout). We are in the middle of the snow-rich Keweenaw Peninsula with centralized access to many cross-country ski trails, snowmobile trails, 3 downhill ski areas, the fun University town of Houghton, and the Ojibway casino. 2-night minimum.

Planning a vacation to Upper Michigan? We have the perfect location for those who want to enjoy a private quiet setting on the shores of Lake Superior and view mother nature at her best. Our cottage is in the western end of Upper Michigan in the small town of Keweenaw Bay. This newer cottage has 850 sq. ft. of modern, nicely decorated living area with an open design and lots of light. The cottage is exceptionally clean with central air and heat. It has a full bath, two bedrooms with queen beds and a queen hide-a-bed sofa in the living room.. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances, microwave and utensils. All linens, towels and furnishing are provided. A laundry facility, TV/VCR with a large assortment of movies is also available. The deck is fully furnished with gas grill and patio furniture. It is situated on two private acres with 435' of sand beach. We have easy access off U.S. 41 yet tucked in on a private road. No need to trailer your machines to the snowmobile trails as we are located near the main trail and you can ride them right from the cottage. The cottage is available year round.
